About Day BreakHotels

DayBreakHotels turns any day into a holiday by allowing customers to book dayrooms, suites or other amenities in the finest hotels at affordable prices.

DayBreakHotels is the creation of CEO and co-founder Simon Botto, a lawyer and professional water polo player. As a Business and Finance consultant, Botto often travelled for work spending nights in luxurious hotels, yet was barely able to enjoy any of the services these hotels had to offer because of his busy schedule. While travelling to games with his water polo team, instead, Botto spent pre-game hours waiting in the lobby of low-cost guesthouses without the opportunity to properly relax before tournaments.

Luxury hotels are known worldwide for their exquisite quality and services, however not many people get to experience the joy of a luxury hotel. Why not open the doors to luxury during the day? Why not turn dull moments into fun, short breaks? Botto asked himself these questions and decided to develop the concept of DayBreakHotels. The key to success was obtained through the “Blue Ocean Strategy”, a business approach that proved great success for Cirque du Soleil and Starbucks. The idea of DayBreakHotels has since then evolved and acquired accessibility thanks to the fundamental presence of the other three co-founders and members Flavio Del Greco, Lorenzo Stabile and Michele Spadone. Del Greco and Stabile are programmers and entrepreneurs from Rome who developed both the online portal and management system. Spadone, instead, after working with Lastminute.com and Walt Disney, assumed the role of Sales and Business Development representative.
